Shop clearance in Surrey

Shop clearances tend to come with a firm deadline. A lease is ending, a refit is starting on Monday, or a handover is booked and the unit needs to be empty. Here’s how we work and what to expect.

When people call us for a shop clearance

Most jobs fall into one of these situations:

• Lease end or closure. The shop is finishing and the landlord wants the unit left clean and empty.
• Refit. Old shelving, display units, and fittings need to go before new ones can go in.
• Change of use. The property is being repurposed and everything left behind needs clearing.
• Part-clear. Not the whole shop — just the stockroom, back office, or storage that’s accumulated over time.

We cover Surrey and the Southeast, and we can usually accommodate tight timescales if you call ahead.

What we take from a shop

Most standard retail and commercial clearance waste:

• Shelving, racking, and display units
• Office furniture and equipment from back-of-house areas
• Bagged stock, packaging waste, and general rubbish
• Fixtures, fittings, and general interior items

What we can’t take: hazardous materials need specialist handling. If you’ve got fluorescent tubes, large quantities of cleaning chemicals, or anything you’re not sure about, mention it when you call and we’ll tell you where you stand.

How pricing works

We price by the load, not by the item or by the hour:

• Quarter load — from £189. A handful of items or a small stockroom clear.
• Half load — from £329. A typical small-shop partial clear or back-office clearance.
• Full load — from £449. Full unit clearances or larger volumes.

If the job is bigger than one load, or if access is tight — many high street shops need early morning slots — let us know when you book and we’ll plan around it.

Licensing and paperwork

We hold Environment Agency waste carrier licence CBDU619794. Commercial customers often need a waste transfer note for their records: we issue one on every job, confirming what was taken and where it went.
